Hello, my name is Bethanne Hott the main tutor and creator of Seas the Day Tutoring. I am a Maryland State Certified Educational Assistant who holds three different types of certifications in the education field: 1.Behavior management developing and teaching rules.
2. Mandated reported training on child abuse.
3. Designing effective classrooms .
- Completion of the course EDU:114 The Developing Child
This course satisfies the 45 hours of the 90 hour course requirement for senior staff as defined by the Md. Department of Human Resources, Child Care Administration
- Graduated from Emmanuel Christian School in 2020 as Valedictorian
- Worked at Washington County Public school as a Paraprofessional from 2021-2022
Why I decided to pursue Tutoring:
Tutoring holds a special meaning to me because I once was that student who needed a tutor. My tutor used to tell me, one day you are going to be teaching the coordinate plane. I thought he was just joking but turns out he actually was not, after graduation I went to college and got my certifications to become an educational assistant and the first thing I had to teach was the coordinate plane. To students, I have been where you are I know how difficult, frustrating and overwhelming struggling in a subject can be. Seas the Day Tutoring is not just about tutoring but also about mentoring, making a difference in the lives of students, with passion and a drive to help students succeed in all that they do. Every student is talented in their own way, they deserve recognition for their hard work! I decided to ultimately pursue tutoring because I deeply care about the kind of care and support students are given! No student should ever feel like they can not succeed because they can succeed in all that they do, it may take time but with encouragement, patience, practice they will succeed!

Pricing
$30 Dollars for 1 hour sessions
All tutoring is done one on one in person, however if you have two students and they do tutoring at the same time $60 dollars for 1 hour session will be charged
What Areas Does Seas The Day Tutoring Tutor
Local tutoring in Hagerstown, Md and surrounding areas!
Seas the Day Tutoring is not a in home tutoring service, and does not tutor at the students homes, instead I encourage parents to use their local library as a place for tutoring
